Heat Timer — Privacy Policy

Training data stays local

Heat Timer stores heat times, splits, practice sessions, doubles assignments, and display preferences on the iPhone using Application Support files and UserDefaults. There is no account or Heat Timer backend, and these records are not uploaded to Soxoa.

Sharing and purchases

A share card is passed to the iOS share sheet only when you choose to share it. The destination you select receives the card. Apple processes optional one-time purchases and provides the entitlement status used to unlock the corresponding feature. Soxoa does not receive payment-card details or your Apple Account password.

Permissions and removal

Heat Timer does not request location, photos, contacts, motion, health, or microphone access. Keeping the display awake during a heat changes a device setting while the timer is active; it does not transmit data.

Deleting the app removes its local data from this iPhone. Device backups and copies you already shared are managed separately. App Store purchase records stay with Apple.

Backups and third-party services

App data may be included in iCloud device backups or local backups according to your Apple settings. Apple operates those services and App Store payments. Soxoa does not control their retention. See Apple’s privacy policy.

Advertising and measurement

The app does not include third-party analytics, attribution, advertising, or tracking SDKs. Soxoa does not sell app data. Apple may process App Store and device diagnostics according to your Apple settings.

Support and this website

If you email us, we receive the message and contact details you choose to send. We use them to respond and handle the support request. Avoid sending private app content unless it is needed to explain the issue. You may request access, correction, or deletion of information you sent us at john@soxoa.com.

This site’s hosting services process ordinary request information to deliver and secure these pages. The Soxoa website privacy policy explains the website’s practices.

Children and changes

We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information through the app. Contact us if you believe personal information was sent to support by a child. We may update this policy and will change the effective date above.
