Conduit Fill — Support
Estimate the space occupied by one size of stranded copper wire in EMT, PVC Schedule 40, or IMC conduit.
Making a check
Configure the conduit, trade size, wire size, insulation, and conductor count, then tap Check fill. Changing an input requires a new check on the free tier. Lifetime results update without the free limits.
Why a reference chart gives another number
Conduit Fill uses Southwire catalog outside diameters for stranded copper wire, Allied/Atkore nominal EMT dimensions, Wheatland nominal IMC dimensions, and CANTEX minimum PVC Schedule 40 bore. It calculates area from those dimensions. These may differ from code-table areas or another manufacturer’s product.
Trade size is a nominal name, not the inside diameter. Dimensions are in inches and areas in square inches. Read Settings → Sources & assumptions and confirm the dimensions of the exact wire and raceway before using a result.
Manufacturer references
The app’s source notes identify the table and measurement used from each publication. Check the current product specification and the locally adopted code before work.

Using Reverse Size
Reverse Size shows the next trade size and the smallest size at or above your selected size that fits the app’s general comparison. It is a separate one-time option included with Lifetime. It does not check pulling feasibility or approve an installation.
A purchase option is unavailable
Connect to the internet and tap Try again on the paywall. Prices and availability come from Apple. An unavailable option cannot be purchased. Previously purchased access can be refreshed using Restore purchases in Settings.
Purchases and restoring access
Use Restore purchases in the app with the Apple Account that made the purchase. Prices and available options come from the App Store. If an option is unavailable, check your connection and retry; do not purchase it again to troubleshoot an existing entitlement.
Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement applies to app use.
