Privacy Policy — Dialed

Dialed is a coffee brewing app for iPhone, published by Soxoa.
The short version
Dialed does not collect your data. There is no account, no server that stores your brews, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. Everything you enter stays on your iPhone.
What stays on your device
Everything you create in Dialed — coffee bags, roast dates, brews, tasting notes, scores, grinder calibrations and app settings — is stored locally on your iPhone, inside the app’s own container. It is included in your device backups if you have iCloud Backup or encrypted local backups turned on, in the same way as any other app’s data. Dialed does not upload it anywhere.
If you use the export feature, a JSON file is written and handed to the iOS share sheet. Where it goes from there is entirely your choice; Dialed does not send it anywhere itself.
What we do not collect
We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, location, photos, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, crash reports or usage analytics. Dialed links no third-party analytics, attribution or advertising SDKs.
Purchases
Dialed Pro is sold through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. Apple processes the payment and tells the app whether a valid subscription or purchase exists. We never see your payment details, and Dialed does not store or transmit them. See Apple’s Privacy Policy at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/ for how Apple handles that transaction.
Your subscription status is stored on your device so the app and its widgets know which features to unlock.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, Dialed schedules them locally on your iPhone. They only ever concern coffee you entered yourself — a bag finishing its rest period, or a bag running low. No push server is involved and no notification data leaves your device. You can turn them off in the app’s Settings or in iOS Settings.
Siri, Shortcuts and widgets
The App Intents, widgets and Control Centre control read a small summary of your coffee data from a shared container on your device so they can display it. That summary never leaves your iPhone.
Children
Dialed is rated 4+ and contains no objectionable material, but it is a tool for people who make coffee. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because we do not collect information at all.
Links out of the app
Dialed contains links to this policy, to a support page, to Apple’s standard licence terms and to the App Store. Following one of those links opens Safari and is subject to that site’s own privacy practices.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at https://soxoa.com/dialed/privacy with a new “last updated” date. Because Dialed collects nothing, we do not anticipate material changes; if that ever changed, the app would ask for your consent first.
